“Wait, what?” This is the exit, isn’t it?“
"I… I must’ve gotten lost somehow
Is this the corridor to the bathrooms? If so, this door to the right should get me to the kitchen
Even though i was sure I already passed it….
Maybe I turned around at some point?”
He goes through the door
“Nevermind, this is new
I would’ve remembered a room dedicated just to creepy masks.
I am out”
“Alright, so it appears I got into some of the rooms that I didn’t explore, that’s fine. I’ll just go back to the room I was in and look at the map again”
He goes back through the door he thought was an exit
“Uh.
Chairs
And, were there that many doors?”
He gets closer to the map
“Wh- This is completely different! It doesn’t even have the exit!”
His breath starts to pick up
“No, no, calm down, Oliver, I just … I…
Ah! I know! I must’ve gotten to an annexed building without realizing it! That’s why its a different map!”
“That must be it”
“It must be”
“I’ll just go south. The entrance was south in the first map, so I’ll go through the door on the right for that corridor”
He does so
There’s a giant graffiti of an arrow pointing towars the turn of the corridor
“Is this an emergency exit?!”
He goes through the corridor
“Ah. Of course.
This isn’t the time to remind me of my love life, graffiti! I’m looking for the exit!”
“Alright, i was heading west when I entered, then I turned right so this is south. Okay, yes, now i just have to go in a straight line”
He reaches the end of the corridor and opens the door
There is no door in front of him
“… This is fine. Just a little detour, no big deal”
“Is this the… ceramic people room? Looks like a ceramic crime scene”
“I’ll just head left, that would be…. West, right?
It appears no one bothered to add any windows. It would be useful to look at the sun for directions”
He enters the door on the left
“Ah, yes, the chair room.
Singular chair.
Would it break if I sit?”
It doesn’t
He’s tired and anxious. He takes a minute to sit down and breathe
“This is… a mess, I can’t believe I managed to get myself lost in a house like this
Maybe I should just call someone
Never mind, no signal
That’s fine. If I get really lost, I can just smash a window and get out!”
He ignores that he hasn’t seen any windows lately
He ignores that there should’ve been an exit there
He ignores that he knows this is isn’t normal
He ignores the panic that’s slowly building inside him
He takes a deep breath
“Alright, back to the ceramic crime scene, hah, maybe I’ll solve it”
He opens the door
He’s panicking now
